This brut nature sparkling wine is made exclusively from Furmint and matured on fine lees for 24 months before being disgorged. The distinctive acidity and neutral character of the Furmint provided the ideal base for a precise, tight sparkling wine where both terroir and method of production could be expressed.
Pale lime in colour, it has a nose of crisp apple, pear and white fleshed peach, subtly underpinned by white flowers and yeasty notes reminiscent of apple pastry. On the palate, it is refreshingly green-apple and citrusy, with a slightly buttery creaminess in the mid-palate and a return of white-fleshed fruit notes as the sip finishes.
